Tying Tips
Use controlled pressure when tying with Veevus GSP Thread. Because it has very little stretch and extreme strength, it can cut through fragile hair, soft materials, or underlying wraps if pulled too aggressively. Cushion the pull with your finger between the bobbin and hook for better pressure control.
Keep your bobbin tension light enough that the thread glides smoothly. A small amount of wax can help bind the micro-fibers together and improve grip on slick materials.
When opening a new spool, remove the top cap first so the ultra-thin fibers do not get pinched under the sticker or cap rim. For cutting, use sharp scissors and slice across the taut thread rather than trying to snap straight through the slippery GSP fibers.
