OROS strike indicators from Streamside use a soft-lock core that threads directly onto the tippet without a toothpick, needle, or separate locking peg. The closed-cell foam body floats a full two-fly nymph rig with split shot without riding low, and the soft-lock grip releases cleanly when you need to slide it up or down without fraying the leader.
The four sizes cover the full spread of nymphing applications: the Small (0.6″) reads subtle takes on tailwaters and spring creeks; the Medium (0.8″) handles a standard bead-head dropper with micro-shot; the Large (1.0″) carries heavier tungsten loads or a two-fly rig on bigger water; the X-Large (1.3″) is built for steelhead indicator rigs, high-water runs, and big western rivers where buoyancy and visibility both matter.
