Poor Boy’s Baits is the originator of the drop shot goby. Lake Erie pros Joe Balog, Steve Clapper & Dave Hayward teamed up with Poor Boy’s Baits to develop the drop shot goby. The gobies’ key characteristics and various color phases were captured to create the perfect Drop Shot Goby. The 4-inch hand-poured goby offers a flat tail and a large head, both key characteristics of gobies. The enlarged head prevents the hook from ripping the bait unlike other hand poured baits.
