Ehlers’ Zodiac Baitfish

The Zodiac Baitfish fly from Pat Ehlers of The Fly Fishers, is a super swimmy baitfish fly with a unique SUPER stretchy, super tough plastic tail for vibration and action that’s killer for bass and big trout and has worked really well in the salt for tarpon, snook and redfish.  The translucent wing material helps create a realistic baitfish profile in combination with the plastic tail’s length and movement.  This isn’t a fly for purists, it’s a fly for anglers who want to catch fish.
